A young woman lay on the beach. By the look of it she was sunbathing, with the bikini and all. After a while of soaking up some sun, the woman sat up and checked underneith a strap of her top. Statisfied with the shade, Alexa got up and began searching for her jeans. She could have sworn that she eft them haning over a peice of the plane, but they were gone.

Charlie stumbled down the beach lazily. Claire was having 'bonding' time with Aaron. So naturally he was quite bored, being that she was the one he spent most of his free time with. After strolling for a few minutes he came across a girl, Alexa he thought was her name, searching for something near a piece of the wreckage. "Excuse me" He said walking abit closer and bending down to pick up a pair of jeans that had fallen behind the wreckage. "Is this what you're looking for?"

Alexa looked up, seeing that Charlie had found her jeans. She smiled lightly and gratefully at him. "Yeah, hey thanks." She said, taking the jeans from him. She slipped them on over her bikini bottoms, and jipped them up. She looked up at Charlie again, smiling greatfuly. "Charlie, right?" Alexa asked, brushing sand sand off her stomach.

"The one and only" He said smiling cheekily. He watched as she brushed the sand off her stomach. She had a very nice figure, and somewhat reminded him as the brunette version of Shannon. He was surprised he hadn't talked to her before. He snapped out of his thoughts and looked back up at her. "And your Alexa, right?"

Alexa noticed him watching her, and inwardly rolled her eyes. "Yup, that's me." She smiled back. She looked around slightly, seeing all the people working. She felt slightly ashamed of herself. She probably should be helping... "Hey, is there anything I can do around here?" Alexa asked.

Charlie looked around at what some of the other castaways were doing. "Nothing much." He said turning back to Alexa. "After we finished sorting through all the luggage the 1st week, everyone went about with their own thing. You know, building shelters, doing laundry, and my personal favorite, sitting around. Bored" He said with a small chuckle.

Alexa laughed. "I know realy." She said. There was nothing to do. Well, she shouldn't say that. Alexa looked around at all the make-shift tents. She should probably be building one. Almost everyone had used all the materials, but she might be able to scavenge for something. "Hey, do you know if anyone has some tarps that they don't need?" Alexa asked Charlie.

"Uh...yeah, actually" He said while shading his eyes from the sun. "There's a sort of community pile down the beach abit by the church" He said motioning toward the church. "I could go get some if you want, and help build some kind of makeshift shelter for you." Charlie needed something to keep him busy anyway.

Alexa smiled greatfuly. She looked down toward the church. She also sheiled her eyes from the glare. We could use some sunscreen here. Alexa thought to herself. She turned her attention back to Charlie, and smiled teasingly. "OK, only if I can help." Alexa said, and started to head to the pile of housing materials.

Charlie's smile brightened dramatically. The last thing he was expecting from a girl who looked like Alexa, was a willingness to do manual labor. "Yeah. Of course" He said as they made their way over to the tarps. He picked up a large tarp, leaving a smaller one for Alexa to carry.

Alexa picked up the other tarp that Charlie left for her. She hoisted it onto her shoulder, trudging through the sand after him. "Now, we are probably going to need four posts, or somthing to make the frame. Am I right?" Alexa asked. The good thing about living on the island is she didn't have to worry about getting enough exercise. They also needed to first find a place to build her little hut. "Were do you think we should build it?" Alexa asked.

"You are definately right" Charlie walked a few more feet before dropping his tarp. "Well, do you have someone you like to talk to or something? You should probably set up beside them" Charlie figured Alexa would want to be near her friends. He knew he had been miserable when Claire had kicked him out and he had had to build a tent pretty far out from everyone else.

Alexa dropped the tarp beside Charlie's tarp. Alexa looked down slightly. "I, uh, don't know alot of people. I'm not the crowd type. Not alot of people are very friendly to me, gues I'm not their type." Alexa shrugged. She was used to it. She looked down the beach, she had certain spots she wanted to avoid, but not directly. So she realy didn't care were it was put up.

"Oh" Charlie felt slightly bad he hadn't talked to Alexa before today. "People are probably just intimidated by you. I know I was. I mean look at you" Charlie closed his eyes for a moment as he thought. "You know, you could set up by my and Claire's tent. I know Claire wouldn't mind, and it's on a pretty nice piece of beach"

Alexa looked toward Charlie and Clair's tents. Well, she didn't have any better ideas. "Sure," Alexa shrugged. She picked up the tarp again. "You sure Claire woudn't mind?" Alexa asked, she didn't want to be intrusive.
