Libby was happy to have found the rest of the survivors from the plane crash. She was beginning to lose hope of ever feeling safe again when Ana was leading them on a constant charge through the jungle. Libby knew it was to keep them safe from the people who were taking them, but she really just wanted to find a place to settle down. Not a permanent home, but one where she could rest until they were rescued.
She walked around the outside of the trees and tightened the ropes that would hold her new roof. She was not a strong person, but she figured the knots she made should hold. At least she hoped so. Libby stepped back and watched as one of the knots she thought was secure came loose. She ran to catch the rope before all of the other knots were pulled loose. She missed and it slipped through her hands, causing a chain reaction and her nice new home had almost completely fallen.
Blowing the hair out of her face, she noticed someone walking up to her. She could only hope they'd offer to help.
((ooc: i know Hurley helped her in the show. Do we have a Hurley? if not - open to anyone!))

Jack has seen Libby's tent fall down in a flurry, so he walked over to see if she needed any help "hey" Jack started "having some trouble?" Jack asked staring around at the wreckage lying in a heap.

Libby looked at the mess that used to look like a shelter and giggled slightly. She should've known better than to try to do this without any help. She wasn't even much of a camper back home. But she wasn't upset by it at all. Since her breakdown, she had learned to take a lot of things in stride.
"Yeah. The ropes won't seem to cooperate and stay in their knots," she joked. "Maybe you could help me bully them into obeying?"

Coming out of the jungle, Boone tossed his bottle of water beside his tent. It was a blaring hot day, as usual. He suppressed a yawn, and raised both hands over his head, flexing the muscles in his arms before shaking them. He turned around, and saw a tent crumble before his eyes.
A small grin crept across his face and he walked quickly over to the figures beside it. "Hey Libby, Jack. Need a hand?" He raised one eyebrow in question at the girl, who he worked out to be the owner of the heap on the ground.

Jack turned around at the sound of a voice approaching them "hey Boone" Jack said he hadn't seen Boone around that much the past few days but he didn't think much of it as he was to busy with the hatch he must have not seen him, "yeah we could use a hand" Jack said picking up on a piece of string and tying to the stick still standing next to him.

Libby smiled at her good fortune: two strapping men to help her make her shelter. She had a feeling this time it would work.
"Boone! I'm so glad you could make it," she giggled. "I think I can definitely use all the help I can get!"
Libby looked around a little bewildered as to where she should start again. She went to one of the corners and picked up the rope. Looking at the two men standing around her she said, "I think my biggest problem is my knots. I am either not making them right or I'm not making them tight enough."

"You need a hand? Good thing I have two then" he grinned, raising both hands to eye level. Boone laughed softly and walked over, examining the rope in Libby's hand. He watched for a few moments, listenng to her explaining her problem.
Looking around, he caught sight of a rope and bent to pick it up. "Well, lets get this shelter up for the good lady, come on Doc" he nudged Jack, grinning. Picking up a piece of wood, and then another one, he started fastening them together.

Libby watched as the men went to work. She stood dumbly in one place knowing the knot part was not her strong suit. Shaking herself out of her stupor, she walked the rope in her hands over to the tree it came unattached from and wrapped it around it twice. She attempted to tie a knot but realized again why her new home collapsed the last time. So instead she waited for one of the men to come strong-arm it fore her.
"Thanks so much you guys. I don't know how long this would have taken me. Actually, I probably would've been sleeping under the stars again tonight," she giggled a little and smiled. It felt nice to be looked after for a change. It was usually her that was helping others these days.

Jack tied up one of the knots as tight as he could do it, but then remembered about the hatch "i goot get to the hatch Libby" Jack said plainly "i'll see you around" Jack headed towards the jungle but patted Boone's arm on the way as a form of saying bye.

Libby watched Jack go. "Is he always this busy?" she asked Boone.
Libby had only just arrived here with the fuselage survivors, but she had been here long enough to notice Jack seemed to alway have somewhere to go or something to do or someone who needed his help. He was someone in desperate need of a vacation. Libby giggled a little to herself as she thought this. Here they were on a beautiful tropical island, and he needed to get away.
