Claire, although unsure, allowed Charlie to escort her to the caves, "You know the whole invisible peanutbutter was sweet but I don't think I should be here." She felt most comfortable at the beach where she would see rescue. She thought if she was at the caves she was admitting that she would be here for a long time.

"Claire, your pregnant. Don't you think you should stay at the caves where the doctor is until you at least have the baby?" Charlie didn't understand why she wanted to stay out in the heat anyway, but he wasn't going to leave a woman almost 9 months pregnant by herself on the beach. He was hoping by the time she delivered the baby she'd be willing to stay at the caves.

Charlie had a point. She gave in and nodded, "Well, the doctor may not understand but you're right." she sighed and sat herself down on a rock. She felt a little like her independance was fading but she was indeed very pregnant and had to admit that she needed help, "So what's it like at this end?"

Charlie smiled as he placed her bags that he had been carrying down by his stuff that was already in the caves. He was glad that she was open minded and willing to agree with him. "The caves? Oh they're great. Jack said they were completely safe and no sand fleas" He said with a small laugh.

Claire smiled, "Good. I was getting sick of Shannon's complaining about those sand fleas!" she giggled. She still felt nervous about the change but Charlie always made her feel better, "Thanks Charlie," she said shyly. It was nice to have someone care about her. Especially now she was pregnant.

"You're very welcome" Charlie said with a warm smile. Charlie hadn't been a very big fan of Shannon since she used him to prove to her brother she could catch a fish. "What doesn't Shannon complain about? I'm starting to wonder why you didn't move sooner" He said with a small laugh.

Claire laughed with him, "Well, I'm here now." she looked in to his shining eyes and they were silent for a bit, "How about you play me some guitar?" she asked. She always liked to hear him playing which was alot now ever since he and Locke found it in the jungle.

Charlie's smile widened. He loved to play his guitar almost more than anything, but it seemed like it just annoyed everyone else. He guessed it didn't really matter since the person he truly care about was the one asking him to play. "Yeah, sure" He said excitely as he grabbed his guitar from his pile and turned back to Claire. "What would you like to hear, love?"

She chuckled when he called her 'love' "Anything. Something you used to play in your band perhaps?" she didn't know much about Charlie's band but was interested in what they used to play. He didn't talk about it much.

Charlie's eyes sparkled excitedly. "Well if it's Drive Shaft you want to hear, you might as well hear our hit" He said as he started to strum the tune to 'You All Everybody' A few minutes later he finished and set the guitar in his lap.

"I can see why that was a hit!" she beamed, "I loved it. I wish I could play in an instrument," she said admiring Charlie for his great playing on the guitar.

Charlie smiled brightly. "Well I could teach you how to play my guitar...you know...if you wanted me to" He said looking into her eyes. He would take any chance he got to be close to Claire.

"Okay," she brightened, "But I've never played so be kind," she smiled holding her hands out for the guitar, "How do I hold it?"

Charlie placed the guitar in her lap gently before going around behind her. He lightly took both of her hands and placed them in the correct places. "Your left hand goes here on the neck, and your right hand strums the strings" He said with a small laugh.

"Ohhhhhh," she strummed a couple of the strings, "That sounds awful," she laughed, "How do I do it!"
